Jenna Butzow, LICSW

Jenna received her Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from The University of St. Thomas/St. Catherine University. She has over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults providing individual and family therapy. Jenna has specialty training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Theraplay, Perinatal Mood Disorders, and is a certified in The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP). She enjoys working with individuals and families who have been impacted by: traumatic experiences, attachment disruption, anxiety and mood symptoms, adjustment to life transitions, and relational challenges.

In addition to her therapeutic work, Jenna has provided individual and group clinical supervision for both pre-licensed and independently licensed therapists since 2013.

Jenna’s approach includes genuineness, warmth, humor, and collaborating with her clients to co-create a therapeutic space that honors each person’s unique perspective and values. Jenna believes that the foundation of change lies in building authentic, trusting relationships with those she is working with. She strives to uphold an anti-racist, LGBTQ+ affirming, and culturally responsive space in which her clients feel seen and respected.

In her free time, Jenna enjoys traveling, spending time at home and outdoors with her family, hiking, exploring new restaurants, and reading.
